Section 10(1) in The M.P. Janpad Panchayat and Zila Panchayat Standing Committees (Election of Members, Powers and Functions and Term of Members and Procedure for the Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994
(1)The candidates shall be assigned a serial number with reference to alphabetical order of the names written in Hindi in Devanagari Script. The presiding authority shall then announce to the members the serial number assigned to each candidate.
