20. [ State aids in the form of loans not exceeding fifteen thousand rupees. [Section 20 first omitted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937, thereafter the same inserted by W.B. Act 15 of 1954, then substituted by W.B. Act 16 of 1956 and again Substituted by W.B. Act 12 of 1961.]
- When State aid is proposed to be given to an industry in the form of a loan not exceeding fifteen thousand rupees, then notwithstanding anything contained in sections 16 and 19, such aid may be granted by such authority and in accordance with such rules as may be prescribed.]
