Section 6(1) in Visvesvaraya Technological University Act, 1994
(1)Admission to the University shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and statutes, be open to all persons:Provided that nothing in this section shall require, the University to admit to any course of study students larger in number than or with academic or other qualifications lower than those prescribed.
