22. Penalty for carrying on business without registration.
- Whoever carries on the business of providing loans without obtaining registration or otherwise that in conformity with the terms and conditions imposed by the registering authority shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year and with fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees.
