Section 51 in The North Cachar Hills Autonomous Districts (Administration of Justice) Rules, 1955
51.
There shall be no imprisonment for debt, exception in cases where the District Council Court or the Subordinate District Council Court is satisfied that fraudulent disposal or concealment of property has taken place and in such cases the debtor may be detained for a period not exceeding six months.
