Section 6 in The Punjab Cattle Fairs (Regulation) Act, 1967
6. Exclusion of jurisdiction of local authorities to impose tax etc.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, no local authority shall be competent to impose any tax or fee in any fair area in connection with a cattle fair during the continuance of the fair.
