Sixteenth Loksabha an> Title: Regarding the Solar pump set scheme sharing pattern.
*SHRI R.K. BHARATHI MOHAN (MAYILADUTHURAI): Hon’ble Deputy Speaker Sir, Vanakkam. To encourage the increased use of solar powered pump sets for agricultural purposes, the practical difficulties faced by farmers should be effectively addressed while implementing this scheme sponsored by the Union Government. As stressed by Hon. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr. Puratchithalaivi Amma during the meeting with Hon. Prime Minister, the contribution of Union Government in the solar pump set scheme should be 80 %, followed by 15 % share of the State Government. The remaining 5 % would be borne by the farmers. I therefore urge that as demanded by Hon. Amma, the solar pump set scheme should be made more effective by retaining the sharing pattern of Government of India, State, and Farmers in the ratio of 80:15:5, respectively. Thank you.
श्री विद्युत वरन महतो (जमशेदपुर): माननीय उपाध्यक्ष महोदय, मैं आपके माध्यम से सदन का ध्यान अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र की ओर आकर्षित करना चाहता हूं। मेरा संसदीय क्षेत्र जमशेदपुर (टाटा) एक औद्योगिक शहर है, जहां छोटे-बड़े कल-कारखाने, फैक्ट्री और कई कंपनियां हैं। वहां गांवों से प्रतिदिन हजारों-हजार की संख्या में लोग अपनी रोजी-रोटी कमाने के लिए आते हैं। वहां शहर के बीचों-बीच टाटा स्टील कंपनी है, जिसके कारण हजारों बड़ी-बड़ी गाड़ियां आती-जाती हैं। इसके कारण प्रति वाऩ लगभग 400 दुर्घटनाएं होती हैं, जिनमें लगभग 300 लोगों की मौत हो जाती है।
महोदय, शहर में घनी आबादी होने के कारण आए दिन जगह-जगह पर जाम की समस्या बनी रहती है। टाटा शहर में एक भी फ्लाईओवर का निर्माण नहीं होने के कारण ट्रेफिक व्यवस्था पर बुरा प्रभाव पड़ रहा है। इसके कारण आम लोगों, स्कूली बच्चों तथा काम करने वाले मजदूरों को भारी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। वहां फ्लाईओवर बनाने की मांग स्थानीय लोगों की बहुत पुरानी है, लेकिन अभी तक फ्लाईओवर का निर्माण नहीं किया गया है। अतः मैं आपके माध्यम से भारत सरकार से मांग करता हूं कि जमशेदपुर में शीघ्र फ्लाईओवर का निर्माण कराने की कृपा करें। धन्यवाद।

SHRI P.R. SENTHILNATHAN (SIVAGANGA): Mr. Deputy Speaker, I would like to bring a very important matter to the notice of the Union Government. Some people from my constituency go regularly to Sri Lanka on business purpose. Two persons, namely Shri Velmurugan and Shri Shashi Kumar had gone to Sri Lanka for doing textile business. They have been arrested by the Sri Lankan Police and remanded at Kandy court. They are in Sri Lankan prison for the last 40 days.
Therefore, I urge upon the Union Government to take necessary steps to rescue two Indian citizens.
श्री भैरों प्रसाद मिश्र (बांदा) : उपाध्यक्ष महोदय, मेरे संसदीय क्षेत्र के बांदा जनपद में कोई केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नहीं है। यह बहुत बड़ी आबादी का जिला तथा कमिश्नरी मुख्यालय है। वहां केन्द्र सरकार तथा राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों व आम नागरिकों के बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा के अभाव का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इसी प्रकार से मेरे यहां चित्रकूट जनपद में केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नगर पालिका के रैनबसेरा में चल रहा है। जमीन केन्द्रीय विद्यालय के नाम रजिस्ट्री हुए कई साल बीत गए, लेकिन भवन का निर्माण नहीं कराया जा रहा है। इस कारण वहां भी यह विद्यालय बंद होने जा रहा है।
अस्तु, मेरा आपके माध्यम से सरकार से अनुरोध है कि बांदा जनपद में इसी सत्र से केन्द्रीय विद्यालय शुरू कराने व चित्रकूट जनपद के केन्द्रीय विद्यालय के भवन को यथाशीघ्र निर्माण कराने की क़ृपा करें। धन्यवाद।

SHRI K. PARASURAMAN (THANJAVUR): Thank you hon. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Under the able guidance of hon. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr. Puratchi Thalaivi Amma, I would like to urge the Government to take steps for establishment of modern rice mill and pulse milling facilities at Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
On this line, I would like to urge the Government to provide necessary infrastructure for modern rice mill and pulse milling facilities at Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology so as to benefit the farmers of Cauvery Delta region. Since Thanjavur is the ‘rice bowl of Tamil Nadu’, the establishment of such a fully functional rice and pulse milling units at the Institute of incubation services would benefit the farmers of Cauvery Delta region which includes Ariyalur, Karaikal, Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Tiruchirapalli, Thiruvarur Districts of Tamil Nadu.
