             ( 1)   Contempt Petition No. 644/2014

When confronted with the order passed by the Supreme Court in similar cases including SLP No. 20025/2011, involving the same issue, which is in the following terms:

"Delay condoned.
Dismissed.
We direct the State Government to implement the order (s) passed by the High Court within eight months time from today.
If for any reasons, the petitioner - State does not implement the order(s) passed by the High Court, the respondents are at liberty to approach this Court by way of filing contempt petition(s)".

(Emphasis supplied) and the order passed by a coordinate Bench at the Principal Seat in Contempt Case No. 1408/2011 dated 28.10.2015 which in the following terms:

"This contempt application has been filed complaining disobedience of the order passed by the High Court in original writ petition and thereafter records indicate that at the instance ( 2) Contempt Petition No. 644/2014 of the State Government the matter travelled to the Supreme Court and in the Special Leave Petition filed before the Supreme Court, following directions were issued, which reads thus:
"Delay condoned.
Dismissed.
We direct the State Government to implement the order (s) passed by the High Court within eight months time from today.
If for any reasons, the petitioner - State does not implement the order(s) passed by the High Court, the respondents are at liberty to approach this Court by way of filing contempt petition(s)".

(Emphasis supplied) Once the Supreme Court has granted liberty to the petitioner to approach the Supreme Court by way of filing contempt petition, if the orders are not implemented within a period of eight months, the petitioners should approach the Supreme Court and file contempt petitions as per the liberty granted to the petitioners.

Accordingly as the petitions are required to approach the Supreme Court, in view of the directions issued by Hon'ble the Supreme Court, contempt application is disposed of. Petitioners to avail the remedy, as already granted by the ( 3) Contempt Petition No. 644/2014 Supreme Court.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands disposed of.
