1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Instruments (Control of Noises) Act, 1959.(2)It shall come into force [with effect from 4th day of September 1986.] [Enforcement date notified by Act XIII of 1988 Section 1.]
