Section 16(1) in Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority Act, 2018
(1)The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, either suo-moto or on the recommendation of the Authority, declare a geographical area, green belt or catchment area around the pond to be a protected area.
