Section 49(1) in Tamil Nadu Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1959
(1)The [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word ',Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969 as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Land Improvement Schemes (Contour Bunding and Contour Trenching) Act, 1949 ( [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969 as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Act XXII of 1949), and the Travancore-Cochin Land Development Act, 1950 (Travancore-Cochin Act XXXVI of 1950), in so far as the latter Act applies to, and is in force in the transferred territory, are hereby repealed.
