Section 50(1) in West Bengal Trade Unions Rules, 1998
(1)The voter, on receiving the ballot paper, shall forth with-(a)proceed to one of the polling compartments;(b)make a mark on the ballot paper there with the instrument supplied for the purpose on or near symbol of the trade union for which he intends to vote ;(c)fold the ballot paper so as to conceal his vote ;(d)insert the folded ballot paper into the ballot box ; and(e)quit the polling station.
