Section 10(5) in The Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2015
(5)Any ration card holder desirous of obtaining extracts from the records of a fair price shop owner may make a written request to the owner along with the deposit of the fees specified by the State Government. The fair price shop owner shall provide such extracts of records to the ration card holder within fourteen days from the date of receipt of a request and the fee specified by the State Government:Provided that the State Government may prescribe the period for which the records are to be kept for providing it to the ration card holder by the fair price shop owner.
