An Act to Amend the South Gujarat University Act, 1965.It is hereby enacted in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-* (Received the assent of the Governor on 19th February, 1994 and published in the "Gujarat Government Gazette" on the 21st February, 1994)

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the South Gujarat University (Amendment) Act, 1993.

2. Amendment of section 2 of Guj. 38 of 1965.- In the South Gujarat University Act, 1965 (Guj. 38 of 1965), in section 2, in clause (3), for the words "leading to a degree", the words "leading to a diploma or a degree" shall be substituted.
