Section 4(3) in The National Rural Employment Guarantee (Central Council) Rules, 2006
(3)[ Every non-official Member of Central Council nominated under sub-clause (i) of clause (d) and clause (e) of sub-rule (1) of rule 3 shall hold his office for a term of one year at a time from the date of publication of his appointment in the Official Gazette.
