(5)The [State] [This word was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that this Act shall cease to apply to any area included in the University area and on such date as may be specified in the notification; and on and from the said date all the educational institutions situate within the said area shall cease to be associated with and to enjoy the privileges of the University.
