Section 24 in Usha Martin University, Jharkhand Act, 2012
24. The Research Council.
- Research Council shall be the Principal Research Committee of the University and shall provide the larger holistic vision of the kind of research to be undertaken by the University, including prioritization of the research areas. Research Council shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes, Regulations and the Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the Research polices of the University.(i)The Vice-Chancellor - Chair Person(ii)The Dean of Research. - Secretary(iii)Deans of all Faculties - Members(iv)Such other members as- may be specified in statutes.
