1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Self-Reliant Cooperatives Act, 1999.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.(3)[ It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint.] [Enforced w.e.f. 15-11-1999 vide SRO-497 dated 15-11-1999.]
