Section 176(1) in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
(1)The Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer shall, either on his own or through other agency, fix hydrants on water-mains, other than trunk mains, at such places as may be most convenient for affording supply of water for extinguishing any fire, and shall keep in good order such hydrants, and may, from time to time, renew every such hydrant.
