IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA

                                     COPC(T) No.54/2019
                                     Decided on: 13.11.2019

                                                                                   .

                                     Versus
Yunis Khan and anr. .....Respondents

Coram

The Hon'ble Mr. Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Judge.
Whether approved for reporting ?1 No.

For the petitioner: Mr. J. L. Bhardwaj, Advocate.

For the respondents: Mr. Ajay Chauhan, Advocate.

Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Judge (oral)

It is fairly stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the amount other than the interest on commuted pension stands paid to the petitioner. However, Mr. Ajay Chauhan, Advocate, at this stage, states that even the interest on commutation and monthly pension to the tune of Rs. 34,646/ already stands sanctioned in favour of the petitioner and the concerned Bank i.e. Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd.

Arki, District Solan has already been directed to pay/credit the above amount to the pension account of the petitioner vide letter 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the Judgment ?Yes( ::: Downloaded on - 13/11/2019 20:25:56 :::HCHP dated 29.11.2018. He has also placed on record copy of said letter, which is made part of the record.

.

2 In this factual background, I really see no reason why interest on commutation and monthly pension will not be paid to the petitioner. Therefore, in case the interest on commutation and monthly pension, as referred to above, is not credited to the pension account of the petitioner within two weeks, he shall be at 3 to liberty to make simple mention before this Court.

Accordingly, the petition is closed in the aforesaid terms and the notices issued to the respondents are discharged.
