Section 22(4) in The U.P. Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975
(4)The Chairman or any other member of a Jal Sansthan may at any time by writing under his hand addressed to the State Government resign his office, and on such resignation being accepted he shall be deemed to have vacated his office.
