Section 1 in The Salsette Estates (Land Revenue Exemption Abolition) Act, 1951
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This act may be called the Salsette Estates (Land Revenue Exemption Abolition) Act, 1951.(2)It extends to the villages specified in the Schedule in the Bombay Suburban and Thana Districts.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct.
