Section 1 in THE KARNATAKA EPIDEMIC DISEASES ACT, 2020.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act, 2020.
(2)It shall extend to the whole of State of Karnataka.(3)Clause (a) of section 2, sub-section (3), (4), and (5) of section 5, section 9 and section 10 shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 22nd day of April, 2020.
