3. The Chancellor and his functions.
(1)The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi shall be the Chancellor of the University and by virtue of his office shall be the Chairman of General Council.(2)The Chancellor when present shall preside over the convocation of the University.(3)The Chancellor shall exercise such powers as may be conferred by on him by or under the provisions of the Act.
