Section 6(2)(l) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(l)It shall be the responsibility of the parents/guardians of freshers to promptly bring any instance of ragging to the notice of the Head of the Institution.
