Section 54(a) in The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018
(a)any student who, immediately prior to the commencement of this act, was studying for a degree, diploma or certificate, as the case may be, of Himachal Pradesh University in accordance with the regulation in force under the respective Act under which the Himachal Pradesh University was established, may until such examinations are provided by the Cluster University, be admitted to the examination of Himachal Pradesh University and be conferred the degree, diploma or certificate, as the case may be, of the said university, for which he qualified on the result of such examination;
