Section 49B in The Calcutta Suburban Police Act, 1866
49B. Consent, etc., of Commissioner of Police or Police-officer how to be proved.—
Whenever under this Act or any rule made hereunder the doing or the omitting to do anything or the validity of anything depends upon the consent, approval, declaration, opinion or statisfaction of the Commissioner of Police or of any Police-officer, a written document signed by the Commissioner of Police or by such officer, purporting to convey or set forth such consent, approval, declaration, opinion or satisfaction shall be sufficient evidence thereof.
