Section 15(2) in The U.P. Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972
(2)Every tenant so vacating a building shall give notice thereof in writing to the District Magistrate and also ,to the land lord not less than fifteen days before the vacancy.
