19. Registrar, etc. to be public Servant.
- The Registrar-General, every District Registrar and Registrar and other officers while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or rules made thereunder shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860).
