Section 34(2) in Gujarat Gas (Regulation of Transmission, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2001
(2)Whoever carries on business of distribution or lays pipelines for such distribution without a licence in contravention of section 25,shall on conviction, be punished with imprisonment which may extend to sit months or with fine not exceeding five laths of rupees or with both and in the case of a continuing offence with an additional fine not exceeding twenty thousand rupees for every day after the first, during which the offence continues.
