Section 22(1) in U.P. Irrigation Department Mechanical Engineers (Subordinate) Service Rules, 1992
(1)The scale of pay admissible to persons appointed to the post in the service whether in a substantive or officiating capacity or as temporary measure, shall be such as may be determined by Government from time to time.
