Section 8(1)(a) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(a)The Commission shall establish, fund and operate, a toll-free Anti-Ragging Helpline, operational round the clock, which could be accessed by students in distress owing to ragging related incidents.
