Section 70(4) in The Assam Co-operative Societies Rules, 1953
(4)The officers and employees of the society shall give the audit officer all assistance necessary for the conduct and completion of the audit and for this purpose in particulars prepare such statements and take such action with regard to the verification or examination of its accounts as he may require.
