Section 1 in Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Appointment and Succession of Syiem, Deputy Syiem, Electors and Rangbah Shnong of Mylliem Syiemship) Act, 2007
1. Short title, Extent and Commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Appointment and Succession of Syiem, Deputy Syiem, Electors and Rangbah Shnong of Mylliem Syiemship) Act, 2007.(2)It shall applies to the whole of the Mylliem Syiemship.(3)It shall come into force at once.
