Section 43(1) in Sikkim Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1983
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Payment of Wages Act, 1936 (hereinafter referred to in this section as "the said act"), the State Government may, by notification, direct that subject to the provisions of subsection (2), the said Act or any of the provisions thereof or of the rules made thereunder shall, apply to all or any class of establishment or to all or any class of employees to which or to whom this Act for the time being applies.
