Section 5(xxii) in Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University Act, 1999
(xxii)to appoint ether on contract or otherwise Visiting Professors, Emeritus Professors consultants, fellows, scholars, artists, course writers and such other persons who may contribute to the advancement of the objects of the University.
