Section 29(2) in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(2)The Committee may by specific resolution carried by the vote of at least two-third of its number present at the meeting delegate any of its powers and duties to a sub-committee and may also by a like resolution define the sphere of business of such sub-committee.
