Section 402(1) in The U.P. Co-operative Societies Rules, 1968
(1)Within a period of ninety days from the date of the registration of a co-operative society or within such extended period as may be permitted in writing by the Registrar, the society shall hold its first general meeting wherein only such persons as had joined in the application for registration of the society shall be entitled to participate.
