(1)The Director General of Police shall, with the approval of the State Government, draw up an Internal Security Scheme for the entire State as well as for each of the districts and major urban areas to deal with problems of Public Order and Security of State, as specific to the area and shall place it before the State Police Board for its approval.Review of Internal Security Scheme.(2)The internal Security Schemes so formulated shall be reviewed and revised as necessary once in two years, and more frequently if required.
