Section 8(5) in Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986
(5)The Chancellor may, where action has not been taken by the University to the satisfaction of the Chancellor within the time-limit fixed and after considering any explanation furnished or representation made by the University, issue such directions as the Chancellor may deem fit and the University shall comply with such directions.
