33. Dean of Students Affairs.
- The Dean shall have the following duties:(1)to make arrangements for housing of students and supervise management of students hostel, cafeteria, mess etc.,(2)to plan and organize students extra-curricular activities such as sports, cultural and, other recreational activities, NCC, NSS and other allied activities of the University.(3)may make arrangements for the employment of students with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor,(4)to plan and direct the programme of students advisement and counseling and to enlist the co-operation of prospective employers and employment agencies to assist in the placement of graduates of the University and to promote discipline amongst the students of the University,(5)to supervise and control medical and health services and other welfare measures of the students in the University.(6)to make arrangements for scholarships, stipends, part-time employments and travel facilities for the study tour of the students.(7)to organize and maintain contact with the alumni of the University(8)such other functions, as may be prescribed.
