Section 6(ii) in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
(ii)to accord recognitionto any science and technology institution which is neither a part of, nor affiliated to, a University or deemed University, as a Recognized Institution;
