Section 69(6) in Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1960
(6)Notwithstanding anything contained in this regulation, an employee would be entitled to the increment in the time-scale falling due when he is on leave other than extraordinary leave and he shall draw the increased salary from the date such increment falls due.
