Section 7(iii) in The Actuaries (Election To The Council) Rules, 2008
(iii)the number of term(s) of office held by a person as a Member of the Council either under clause (a) or under clause (b) or partly under clause (a) and partly under clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 12 of the Act, prior to the commencement of the Act, shall not be taken into account for the reckoning of the three consecutive terms for the purpose of disqualification under clause (c) of the proviso;
