Section 41 in The Goa Command Area Development Act, 1997
41. Payment of reward to informant.
- Whenever any person is sentenced with fine under this Act, the Superintending Engineer, Command Area Development Board, shall have power to reward any person who gave information leading to the detection of the offence or to the conviction of the offender, with such amount as he may determine. However, the Superintending Engineer, CAD, shall ensure the secrecy of the identity of the informant.
