Section 225(1) in The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(1)A Panchayat may, subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder and with previous sanction of the State Government, make regulations to carry out the purposes of this Act in so far as it relates to its functions, powers and duties.
