Section 2(iii) in The Orissa Medical Registration Act, 1961
(iii)"medicine" means the modern scientific medicine and includes surgery and obstetrics, but does not include Veterinary medicine or Veterinary surgery or the Homoeopathic, the Ayurvedic or the Unani system of medicine; and the expression "Medical" shall be construed accordingly;
