Section 8(b) in Punjab Boiler Attendants Rules, 1961
(b)An attendant in charge of a boiler for which a certificate of competency as an attendant of the first class is required may be relieved of charge by a person holding a certificate of the second class, in any one day for not more than two periods, the total of which does not exceed two hours.
