Heard Mr. K. Paul, learned Sr. counsel appearing for the petitioner who has submitted that a Public Notice dated 26.03.2025 was issued by the respondent No. 4/Administrator of CMJ University, Meghalaya under the caption "Notice of Winding Up of CMJ University and Invitation for Claims and Objections".

The petitioner being aggrieved on the ground that relevant provision of the CMJ University Act, 2009, more particularly sub-Section (3) of Section 48 of the same not being complied with has approached this Court with a prayer for necessary direction to the concerned authorities in this regard.

Mr. Philemon Nongbri, learned special counsel appearing for all the respondents herein has submitted at the bar that he is authorised to appear on behalf of such respondents and has accordingly accepted notice.

On consideration of the submission made, this petition is accordingly admitted.

As has been stated above, formal notice upon the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively not required to be issued, the petitioner is directed to furnish copy of the petition upon the learned special counsel for the respondents. Mr. Philemon Nongbri has then submitted that he may be allowed to file an affidavit-in-opposition on behalf of the respondents.

Prayer allowed. List this matter after 3(three) weeks.
