ORDER
1. Shri Rajendra Gupta filed an application dated 03.06.2013 under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) with the CPIO, North East District, Delhi Police seeking information regarding history of posting of former SHO, Shahdara, Shri Vikram Singh Meena, allegations of corruption against him prior to his posting as SHO, Shahdara, allegations of corruption while holding the charge of SHO Shahdara and total movable and immovable property in his name and his family members, whether he has submitted IPR return every year, etc.
2. Not satisfied with the information provided by the CPIO vide his letter dated 21.09.2013, the appellant filed first appeal dated 21.09.2013 before the First Appellate Authority (FAA). F.A.A. vide his order dated 19.11.2013 stated that the CPIO provided the information as available. As he was not satisfied with the information provided, the appellant filed second appeal dated 14.02.2014 before the Commission.
Hearing:
3. The appellant Shri Rajendra Gupta despite notice was absent. The respondent Shri Ram Chander, ACPIO and ACP was present in person.
4. The respondent submitted that information was provided to the appellant vide letter dated 21.09.2013. The respondent further submitted that the FAA vide its order dated 19.11.2013 also upheld the order of CPIO.
Decision:
5. The Commission finds that information has been provided to the appellant. Hence, no further action is required in the matter.
6. The appeal is disposed of. Copy of decision be given free of cost to the parties.
